Offer a new therapy (and hope) to your patients
Under Montana’s upcoming right-to-try framework, you’ll be permitted to sell Phase I-cleared treatments following Experimental Treatment Review Board assessment and oversight. Be one of the first providers to give patients struggling with central hearing loss the ability to try a new low-risk, neuroscience-backed therapy that has the potential to dramatically change how they connect with the world.

What you'll be offering

A 30-day at-home protocol
Parley has developed a first-of-its-kind therapy (Localized Oligodendrocyte Optimization Therapy, or LOOT) to treat central hearing loss, which occurs in the brain and not in the ear and is characterized by difficulty processing sounds in noisy environments. The 30-day protocol combines targeted audio therapy with an FDA-approved oral medication.
For patients experiencing hearing-in-noise challenges
Patients who will benefit are those who fail speech-in-noise testing regardless of if they are candidates for hearing aids. The FDA has never evaluated efficacy claims for any hearing aid’s ability to improve hearing-in-noise, so while these devices are essential for many of your patients, the lack of benefit for this condition is likely a major driver of the well-known poor adoption and adherence many patients seeking treatment for their hearing-in-noise difficulties experience
Your role
As the expert in diagnosing patients who struggle to hear in noise, you will upload the diagnostic package you already generate to a licensed clinician that will perform a medical safety review of the patient and write their prescription. After a patient has received their medication in the mail, you will monitor and support their clinical progress during treatment. Just like with leading hearing aids, the hardware you will provide will allow you to remotely monitor your patient's compliance. The business model and practical clinical experience supporting LOOT are designed to be as similar as possible to your experience serving patients with hearing aids.
